Life is good!

Today,  Kingsley had a good buddy at the groomers with him!  PAD Davy is a 7 month old Labradoodle.  His volunteer trainers been having a hard time keeping him clean in a traditional doodle coat, so I said "let's try a poodle cut!".

Low and behold, we all are getting a kick out of how much like a poodle he looks!!

1st Meeting!

Well, I finally felt like Kingsley and I are doing well enough together to bring him to a business meeting today!  He was PERFECT and i'm so glad I decided to try!  We arrived 30 minutes early, and the meeting was a little over an hour long.  Kingsley remained in an under/down/stay for the entire meeting!  He also settled a lot quicker than our last time in a cafĂ©.  (I think last time it took around 6 minutes, this time was 3 max!).  Here he is right after he went under and laid down.   He's such a dream.

Life Getting Back To Normal

Kingsley and I are finally feeling a bit more caught up from the hustle and bustle of the December To Remember (or perhaps not because it was so busy I can't quite even remember it!).  He handled the holidays well, nothing extraordinary to write about!

Today we did an outing at Target, again completely working on my wheelchair.  We've been doing so great with it that last week we went to Toys R Us!  It was PACKED with kids and he did great!!

During todays trip while Kingsley and I were in line (moments after the photo below was taken) a woman came up quickly behind us, bent down and used his back to bare her weight on while reaching for something on the low shelf.   He handled it perfectly by looking up at me and while he showed concern he didn't startle at all!  Good boy!

PS he was due to be groomed lol!
